Farmbyrd is a casual neighborhood rotisserie & fried chicken restaurant serving the best in responsibly sourced chicken, farm fresh salads and sides, new world wines, Texas beers & craft cocktails. We take the approach to our food that “less is more” and we let the ingredients speak for themselves. In order to continue to deliver the freshest and tastiest food, our greens, classic sides, favorite sides, beers and cocktails will all rotate based on the season.
We want you to feel at home when you are at Farmbyrd. Utilizing the natural elements of our space we created a “reclaimed,” “worn,” & “open” feel to our space so our guests feel comfortable and want to come back again and again.

Farmbyrd Rotisserie & Fry is one hundred percent committed to serving FARM FRESH FOOD. We source the freshest, never frozen, chickens with zero hormones or anti-biotics from responsible farms where they are quickly sent to us at the restaurant. Our chefs individually inspect (using a 5 point inspection system) & brine the chicken until you order.
Way back in 2001, Tim McLaughlin and Ryan Carbery started a friendship in the busy kitchen of ZuZu's Petals in St Louis. From fine dining to hotels to assisting in opening several new concepts in both St. Louis and Dallas, they always knew that someday they would open a place together. Tim McLaughlin, who developed and is currently co-owner of Lockhart Smokehouse, wanted another concept that was simple and focused, but still delivered incredibly good food. Carbery, who hails from generations of "restaurant people" is a talented Chef who believes in the ingredients and knows how to fuse them together to make delicious tastes. And so, Farmbyrd was born...husband and wife - Tim & Beth McLaughlin and Ryan Carbery along with business partner RJ Timmons bonded over the idea of a restaurant serving high-quality farm-to-table chef-driven food in a casual, neighborhood space.
